Do-Now: Jonas fled his community to escape to an Elsewhere he wasn't sure existed. Do you believe Elsewhere exists? What does it look like? Do you predict Jonas will make it to Elsewhere? Explain.

Exit Slip: How is Jonas' escape from his community becoming bittersweet? What experiences has he been able to have now that he is outside his community? How are these experiences similar/different from those given to him by the Giver?
